Our apprenticeship scheme is perfect for those who are fascinated by all things mechanical and are looking to continue their learning journey while also earning a wage and experiencing a workplace environment. Our four-year apprenticeship programme will provide you with the experience, training and support needed to become a fully qualified Service Engineer while working with one of the best-known brands in construction, JCB.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for apprentices who have a good mechanical aptitude, enjoy fixing things, have an interest in engineering and are team players.
About the course
The course is a mix of college-based training and on the job training. In your first year you will spend more time in college than the subsequent three years, where you will be working alongside fully qualified engineers to gain knowledge and develop your skills.

What's Involved?
What will I learn?
As an apprentice, you will develop the basic principles you need to learn to work on our engineering team, and you will receive first-class technical training from real experts. You will also benefit from expert training delivered by our qualified trainer at our dedicated training centre in Glasgow. You’ll graduate with an NVQ/SVQ in Plant Maintenance.
Where is the college-based learning?
Reaseheath College or Inchinnan, depending on the location.
